I just registered for the Livestrong Philly Challenge. I registered to run 5K and ride 45miles as a member of Team Fat Cyclist (aka Team Fatty). Now I just need to raise $250.00 for the Livestrong Foundation. Here is the default text from Livestrong:
"The money I raise will go to support LIVESTRONG’s programs and services, which inspire and empower people affected by cancer. If you or someone you know is diagnosed, these resources will help face the challenges of cancer, head on, and live life on your own terms.
Please support me as I make a difference in the cancer fight through my participation in Team LIVESTRONG. Thank you!"

who am I? some descriptions:
"an ill-advised adventure" -anon
"nice girl but with a well developed sense of mischeif" -Matt
"a librarian, with tattoos, that has a carebear toothbrush and does jiujitsu" -Tery
"stupifyingly adorable" -a drunk boyfriend :)
incidentally, took up running kindof and have been using my journal as a training log for that more than anything mileage;minutes;pace then any random notes about the experience... & since that's not very interesting to a lot of my flist who could pretty much care less I have a running filter- if you want on let me know & I can add you- also, I have another filter I use when I decide I'm paying attention to what I eat (I do that periodically) and start having entries that are just a running list of what I'm eating... again, it's an opt in sortof thing so you need to let me know...
